We’ll be using our Linn Sondek LP12 turntable, with Linn’s reference Klimax Kontrol pre-amplifier and Akubarik fully aktiv loudspeakers.
This is one of the best selling jazz records of all time. Not strictly a jazz, it’s a major funk record, where the influences of Sly and The Family Stone, Stevie Wonder, Donald Byrd and Curtis Mayfield shining through. It’s been highly influential to a whole host of musicians and been sampled by the likes of Nas and 2Pac.
Please don’t feel intimidated in coming to the shop!! There is no sales pressure. Simply come along, grab a glass of wine or beer, and listen to this classic on a fabulous hi-fi system – taking you closer to the performance!
